This program is organised as blocks of 6 weekly dance classes and is open to people living with Parkinson's as well as their family members, friends and carers.
The classes are led by a teacher, an assistant teacher and a group of volunteers – mostly professional dancers or people with related skills. With their various artistic proposals, the teachers each offer different approaches and styles. The exercises are partly improvised, partly choreographed and influenced by techniques such as Feldenkrais, ballet, Tai-Chi, popping and voice training. The classes are free of charge and are aimed at all people who like to dance, regardless of their physical abilities.
